Anybody does that, no matter how advanced you are… It happened to me yesterday. One of the beginner mistakes around Spring. Forgetting the Proxy.
So, there was I, coding along my slides for a new in-class training about Spring Security and at one step my code did stop working. I did not know why. I did not even see it at the beginning. Looked like the things I’ve done hundreds of times. Nothing special, but it did not work. What do we do in those situations? Google.
Nothing. I was going to give up for that day and then a comment on some site hit me with a sledgehammer. Damn, that was it. I found a hint, I found MY error in the code, fixed it and everything was fine.
So, no matter where you are in your journey, beginner mistakes can hit you :-)
